The 2026 STEM College Scholarship Application is OPEN. Applicants can complete the application below.

The deadline for submissions is 1 May 2026. The chapter will be awarding scholarships in May 2026. In addition to filling out this application, students will be required to email a copy of their transcripts to ecafcea@gmail.com. Applications will not be considered without a copy of the student's transcript. High school applicants must also provide a statement from their respective high school guidance counselor.
Scholarship Qualifications:
U.S. Citizen or Permanent Resident
Resident within the State of Florida
Either living, working, or graduated high school in Santa Rosa or Okaloosa County
Second-year student in a two-year Community College transitioning to a four-year college or university
Acceptance to a U.S. accredited college or university in a four-year full-time STEM curriculum for computer science, engineering, mathematics, physics, chemistry, cybersecurity, or management information systems
Applicants can be a high school senior, or a college student within one year of graduation
Have not previously been awarded a scholarship from the Emerald Coast Chapter, no repeat awards
High School Guidance Counselor Letter of Recommendation Guidance (High School applicants only)
What to include in the letter
Your name, address and contact information
The name of the student you are recommending
How you know the student (class, work, community organization, etc.)
How long you have known the student
At least one, if not several, of the following:
Traits that make the student a good candidate for the scholarship
Why you think the student may be a good fit for the scholarship
Examples of achievements, situations where they excelled, leadership, character, etc.
Other positive qualities that show the student is a good fit for the scholarship, such as fortitude, perseverance, independence, etc.
Letter format and submission requirements
All letters must be received by 11:59PM on 1 May 26
All letters must be on school letterhead
All letters must be in PDF format
All letters must be signed by you and include a way to contact you (email address and/or telephone number)
